FEARN  LEICESTER

The rei co-op typeface was created to be used not only in graphics but also across rei's branding. In places such as the company website, signage, murals, catalogues, and a variety of other applications. We wanted the glyphs to be quarky and bold. Taking inspiration from the shapes of volkswagon vans, the national park typeface used in commonly known posters, and wood carved letters.
